I was very skeptical of handing over my baby, and for never having a dog walker before. I should never of worried, Steph has been kind, sympathetic and most importantly professional from day one. Reggie loves Steph and enjoys his long walks with her. But most importantly she understands the treat tax too!!

I had Steph look after my dog Zara for nearly two weeks and everything was great. I needed the dog sitting service too plus the walks. Steph worked around my dog’s schedule and nothing was too much trouble. Zara absolutely loved her so we have already booked Steph back in for June!

Just wanted to give a review following several stays and meets with the lovely Steph from Active Paws. We have a Romanian rescue called Phoebe, who we can only describe as a princess! Steph firstly met and walked with us, so she could understand the quirks surrounding our diva. She asked lots of questions, and we completed the thorough forms which covered everything from meals to reactive behaviours. Steph is the utmost professional with the biggest caring nature, and when phoebe is with her she sends us pictures and updates. Steph has looked after Phoebe at our home and is very accommodating. We cannot recommend her and Active Paws enough. A true gem!

Steph very quickly and very clearly became Meekos favourite person from the moment he set eyes on her! I’ve never seen him dote on someone the way he does Steph and I have full trust that when he’s with her she’s his person. Meeko is going through his 8 month adolescence so these walks are even more important to his wellbeing and knowing he’s with someone he loves makes it all the more easy to feel at ease. Steph has been nothing but lovely, communicated throughout walks knowing how hard I’ve found it to trust someone with him but I’m glad we found her. We have known Steph for a while and takes Teddy and Rosie on regular walks.
She just has a way with dogs and my dogs just love her. Steph has always been reliable and professional. She is set up to walk the dogs no matter the weather. Teddy and Rosie look forward to being with her looking out of the window awaiting her arrival. I know I can trust her with my dogs and they enjoy every minute they have with her. I highly recommend Active Paws.

Steph has been walking Nova for the past few months, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have found her. It hasn’t always been easy — when Nova first started with Steph, she was very nervous and didn’t like much physical contact. But thanks to Steph’s hard work and patience, they’ve built a really lovely bond. Steph is genuinely caring, and it’s clear she has a real love for animals. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker!

I’ve have only know Steph for 6 months , but I can honestly say she is such a lovely girl, Monty really loves her. He looks forward to his weekly walk and Steph has often done a house sit for me and I trust her ! She’s is very accommodating and will always try her best for any special requests that you have. I know I can relax when I’m out as steph is really great with monty and you can see how much she loves her dogs…I always recommend Active paws as I know how hard Steph works and she’s always reliable but most importantly Monty loves her very much and that’s what counts

“I don’t know what we’ve do without Steph. We’ve been using her over the last few years to walk and stay with our baby, Stella, and we can’t recommend her enough. She’s so amazing with Stella and always makes sure Stella’s so well taken care of and has the most fun on her walks. She’s also a great communicator and always works around our schedules. She’s taken the stress out of leaving Stella when we’re away and we never worry when Stella is with Steph and that means the world. Stella is also literally obsessed with Steph and I think that says it all!”

Where do I begin! Albert (Cockapoo) and I have known Steph for a couple of years now. Steph is an absolute delight; you can tell she really loves dogs and treats everyone of them like they are her own. Albert is completely obsessed with Steph, and I know that when he is with her, he is having the best time and completely safe. Not only does she walk Albert, but he has sleepovers when I am away, and I receive the best updates and photos. I am not sure what I would do without her, Albert would definitely be sad if we didn’t have her. Thank you for everything, we are very lucky that you are now our friend. I couldn’t recommend Active Paws enough so book before all her time slots go!

I highly recommend Steph, as a dog walker she is reliable and punctual will go the extra mile for us, she is flexible and will let us know if she is unable to fit us in, but will always come back with an alternative, Steph has looked after Reggie our border collie for a number of years he’s not the easiest to dogs but she has taken the time to understand his different needs, she always reassures me he’s has been good, therefore I can relax when I’m away

We have been using Steph to look after Bella when we have been away for the night or out for the whole day. Steph is a true professional and provides a very reliable service. It’s a big reassurance to have some one who cares for Bella as much as us and I know she will be left in very capable hands :) would highly recommend !

I can’t recommend Steph enough! I found her through a friend and was initially nervous, as one of my dogs is full of energy and the other is very shy. But from the moment Steph came to meet them, I knew they were in safe hands. She was calm, kind, and clearly cared. She’s been incredibly flexible, even booking gated fields for them when requested. My dogs adore her and rush out the door for their walks and I love seeing their adventures on her instagram stories. Steph is trustworthy, compassionate, and truly wonderful with my girls.

I can’t recommend Steph highly enough! Steph is absolutely lovely and so caring towards our dog Alan. You can tell she is a genuine dog lover and I trust her completely with Alan. Steph is Alan’s favorite person and he gets so excited every week to see her. Steph has also dog sat Alan and stayed overnight (which Alan loved!). She is respectful and always accommodating and punctual. Steph is always smiling and happy to see Alan too, making him feel special. Thank you so much Steph for all that you do for Alan! X
